Hi, I’m Trime

Trime Persinger - Improve your relationships

(Pronounced Tree-may)

When I started teaching communication skills to incarcerated men, their response was “This stuff won’t work in here.” To their surprise, the skills did work inside prison, enabling them to ease difficult situations and build positive relationships with family, friends, and each other.

It all started when an inmate learned that I had taught communication skills before becoming a prison chaplain, and said “You should teach us.” The program became popular and spread throughout the Oregon prison system, earning me an Outstanding Service Award from the Oregon Department of Corrections.

I collected more than a hundred stories of inmates using the skills to transform their lives.

Now, in my work as a coach and trainer, I combine communication skills with a personality typing system called the Enneagram. Together, these two modalities help clients to tap into deep wisdom, make some adjustments to their patterns of communicating, and heal their relationships.

My book, Crossing the Bridge: Heal Your Relationships with Courageous Communication, provides an accessible description of the skills and the transformation they can bring to all your relationships (including your relationship with yourself).

I would love for you to join me on this journey!
